This is the most enchanting part of Belgium. Wild and rugged, with thick forests, deep river valleys and whimsical villages. This is the Ardennes, and battles in this region have shaped the entire history of Europe.

During the Franco-Prussian war in 1870, again in both 1914 and 1918, and once more in 1940 and 1944 - this serene region has been the epicentre of chaos and confusion. Come with us in 2025, to walk thr ground and discover every war in the Ardennes.

Over 5 days, explore the terrain, follow in the strategists' footsteps. Understand the human impact of victory and disaster in the Ardennes. 

We'll be visiting key locations in every era from the Battle of Bazeilles in 1870, right through to what's known as 'the greatest American battle of the Second World War' - the Battle of the Bulge, in 1944.
