Everyone has their own reasons for exploring the past. It may be family connections, it might be curiosity, or an adventure with friends ... but you don't want 'the usual'.

That's why we only offer new, interesting battlefield tours and history trips that excite us, too. We want to go off the beaten track, to find out something new about the past in the company of brilliant, award-winning authors and historians.

Better history, more of it.

How do we do it?

We cap our groups at 20 people. It gives us a chance to really bond as a group and enable guests to have a proper discourse with us over the course of the trip. We don’t want people to queue to ask a question, so we're determined to maintain a ratio of 1 staff member to every 10 customers.

Will they be the cheapest tours available? No. But the ones we send away are tailored in meticulous detail, staffed by experts who are knowledgable enough that you’ll never hear the same scripted content twice, and we are fully invested in everything we’re about to share. We don’t want anyone to leave feeling they’ve just been herded on and off a bus. These are pilgrimages, yes, but they’re also holidays, we don't want them to be exhausting.
